Industry Field Trips

The maturity and professionalism of students in the MSE program for professionals creates opportunities that are unavailable to students in other Masters programs. At CMU, we develop opportunities for the MSE students to meet in small groups with industry professionals from top companies. These meetings may be hosted at the MSE program office, or on-site at the company’s facilities. The meetings offer students additional networking opportunities as well as a look into the life of professional engineers to understand the state-of-the-art challenges that they are facing at the edge of emerging technology.
